When members of the Huyi Community work together on projects in Huyixiang (沪羿祥) EduLab, they’re encouraged to set up clear agreements on how to handle any intellectual property (IP) created through co-designing digital learning solutions.
Working in partnership makes it easier to manage the risks and uncertainties that come with developing and protecting IP on your own. With support from Huyixiang’s legal partners, teams can create fair arrangements—whether that means sharing, licensing, or co-owning new ideas and resources. Each project team is expected to agree on things like ownership, licensing, revenue sharing, costs, risks, and how to resolve any disagreements.
To make this process smoother, the Huyixiang Mentorship Programme is available to help teams build good communication and coordination habits—regular check-ins, progress updates, and feedback loops—so that IP agreements run fairly and efficiently within the community.
