‘Huyi Community’ members collaborating as Project Teams in Huyixiang (沪羿祥) EduLab are encouraged to establish collaborative arrangements regarding intellectual property (IP) arising from the co-creation of digital learning solutions.

Partnerships can help reduce the risks and uncertainties of independently developing and protecting IP. Huyixiang’s legal partners may provide support in setting up IP partnerships, which may involve sharing, licensing, or co-creating IP among different entities. Project Teams are expected to negotiate and agree on the terms and conditions of such partnerships. These include ownership, licensing, and exploitation of IP assets, as well as the division of costs, risks, benefits, and mechanisms for dispute resolution.

To support this process, the Huyixiang Mentorship Programme can assist in establishing effective communication and coordination practices—such as regular meetings, reporting, and feedback—to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of partnership agreements within the community.
