Huyi Community:Community Events
Release time:2025-11-27 15:49:18
Community Engagement:Open-source strategies for digital learning refer to institutional and organisational approaches that utilise freely accessible, community-developed technologies, resources, and standards to design, deliver, and expand inclusive, cost-effective, and interoperable learning experiences. In this event, we will examine several emerging trends in the new generation of community-based Learning Management Systems (LMSs) and discuss how open-source infrastructures can support these developments. We will explore how LMS ecosystems in China and ASEAN can significantly benefit from the rapid progress of open-source technologies in Europe, and how institutions can capitalise on these opportunities—while also recognising the challenges involved. We will invite experts from Europe to join remotely and contribute to the discussion

Experts talk- Open source strategies for Digital Learning - Huyi (沪羿祥) Community
Open-source strategies for digital learning refer to institutional and organisational approaches that utilise freely accessible, community-developed technologies, resources, and standards to design, deliver, and expand inclusive, cost-effective, and interoperable learning experiences. We will invite experts from Europe to join remotely and contribute to the discussion. During the event, we will also present several prototypes currently under development in our community that illustrate these trends, including:
AI-driven RBL prototype
Cultural Heritage prototype
Product Development co-creation prototype
Members of our community will be invited to share ideas and propose new projects. We will also provide members with guidelines on how to use available resources, start a new project within the community, and find mentors or collaborators. Finally, we will open a forward-looking discussion on longer-term developments—such as Moodle XR and immersive open-source learning environments—together with our international experts.
